How it works

Connect once. Schedule forever.

01

Connect your X account

Click Connect X in Posthive's Accounts page. Approve the OAuth prompt and your account is linked instantly.

02

Write your tweet

Compose in Posthive's editor. The 280-character counter updates live. Attach up to 4 images if needed.

03

Schedule and publish

Pick your publish time. Posthive posts via the X API at the exact second. No links allowed — X charges $0.20 per tweet with a URL.

Why use Posthive for X (Twitter)

Built for X (Twitter) from day one.

01

Post at peak hours without watching the clock

X engagement spikes at specific windows — early morning, lunch, and early evening in your audience's timezone. Posthive lets you write your tweets whenever inspiration hits and schedule them to go live exactly when your audience is most active.

02

100 tweets/month included on Pro and Team

X's API pricing is steep. Posthive absorbs the API cost and includes 100 tweets per month on Pro and Team plans — no extra billing, no per-tweet charges. Links are not supported due to X's API restrictions on the Basic tier.

03

Cross-post to 10 other platforms simultaneously

If you're on X, you're probably also on Bluesky, LinkedIn, or Threads. Posthive lets you write once and post to all of them in one click. Use per-platform overrides to tweak the copy for each network without creating separate posts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I include links in X posts via Posthive?+

X charges significantly more for API access that allows link posting. Posthive uses the Basic API tier, which does not support tweets containing URLs. This is an X API restriction, not a Posthive limitation.

How many tweets can I schedule per month?+

Pro and Team plans include 100 tweets per month. This resets on your billing cycle. The limit is shared across all connected X accounts on your plan.

Can I schedule X threads with Posthive?+

Posthive currently supports individual tweets and first comment (reply) automation. Full thread scheduling — multiple sequential replies — is on the roadmap.

How do I connect my X account?+

Click Connect X in the Accounts page. You're redirected to X's OAuth page to approve access. The connection uses OAuth 1.0a, which is what X requires for posting via the API.
