What is a Nostr scheduler?+
A Nostr scheduler is a tool that lets you write Nostr notes (Kind 1 events) in advance and publish them to relays at a scheduled time. Posthive is one of the only social media schedulers that supports Nostr.
Is it safe to paste my nsec into Posthive?+
Your nsec is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored. It is never logged or returned in API responses. If you prefer zero trust, you can self-host Posthive on your own server — the source code is fully open on GitHub.
Can I generate a new Nostr keypair in Posthive?+
Yes. If you don't have a Nostr keypair yet, Posthive can generate one for you. Your new npub and nsec are shown once — save them in a password manager before closing the dialog.
Which relays does Posthive publish to?+
Posthive publishes to relay.damus.io, relay.nostr.band, nos.lol, and relay.snort.social by default. These are among the highest-uptime public relays on the network.
